When children with special needs walk or roll through the church's front door, children's ministry volunteers are in a special position to exhibit Christ's love and acceptance to these children and their families. Providing an atmosphere in which all children are welcome and included should be a priority for all children's ministry programs.

This tool is adapted from "Developing a Children's Ministry to Include All Kids (Even Those with Disabilities)," a PromiseLand Conference workshop by Kathleen Marshall and Debbie Getty. PromiseLand is a ministry of the Willow Creek Association.
